?A WILDEST DREAM?????????

??? This is my first time to take part in this WEMUN EXPO, and I’m very glad and grateful to have this experience, I would like to say that this experience is just like a dream, a wildest dream I’ve ever had.
??? My first impression about Model United Nation is that it’s like a game, a game which gives you an opportunity to express your thoughts and ideas and provides you with a platform to exchange ideas and make friends and more importantly, have fun! By learning at our school’s MUN club, I have learnt to know about the whole procedures and rules. What impressed me a lot is that unknown is one of the biggest challenges, but also one of the features of MUN, and that makes it different from any other contests or matches. And that’s what makes me more curious and interested in it.
This summer, in 2015, I finally got this chance to get to see and experience what I’ve been dreaming of---becoming a real MUNER.
??? With excitement but also tension, we started our journey. I was very surprised to find that when everyone around us was dressed up, then everything started to get much more serious, because right now, we are not some individuals or single persons, we are the delegate of our own country, and everything that we do in our sessions is just for our country’s own profits, wants and wishes for our people.
??? During our sessions, each delegate is serious about the issue that we’ve been working on, and the way that we behave: write, talk; we deal with the topic; and even we debate has nothing to do with personal reasons, because we’re aware of the complexity and importance of the result. And everyone is aware of the importance of unity, because sometimes it goes straight decide the result of this issue. You may wonder: what does unity actually mean? Well, unity means you have to catch every single moment or chances (like when you’re eating!) to get to talk to other delegates and know about their thoughts, then you have to consider whether you guys are on the same way or not. And disagreements are very common between delegates, and in those situations, you must figure out a proper way to deal with that. But, don’t forget that fun is also an element of this activity. There, fun means making new friends and you’ll be very surprised and excited to find out the differences: different cultures, different accents...
??? This 3-day journey came to an end. But for me, it just means a new beginning. And I’ve learned that just because things end doesn’t mean they’re not the most beautiful thing in the world while they’re happening.
